Walkathon Programme

The main Walkathon event will take place from 8.30am on the 28th of September 2024, and is scheduled to end at noon.

Thereafter there will be a series of events to celebrate and entertain the Walkathon participants. There will also be children's entertainment and food available.

Significance of the route

Freedom Corner in Uhuru Park, a crucial part of the walk, signifies the importance of the Kenyan peoples’ right to freedom and their sovereign right of the people to hold their leaders to account.

The route passes many significant institutions, including churches, key government offices, the Parliament and judiciary offices. All these play a significant role in ending corruption and bringing the corrupt to account.
