Significance of the route
Freedom Corner in Uhuru Park, a crucial part of the walk, signifies the importance of the Kenyan peoples’ right to freedom and their sovereign right of the people to hold their leaders to account.
The route passes many significant institutions, including churches, key government offices, the Parliament and judiciary offices. All these play a significant role in ending corruption and bringing the corrupt to account.
